About the Event
In 2014, Lourdes Legacy Event was created to honor those who have supported Lourdes’ Mission through their time, talent, and treasures, helping Ensure Our Legacy of quality, compassionate care For Future Generations.
Over the years, this beloved tradition has celebrated the people whose generosity and vision have kept our Mission alive.
In the summer of 2025, the Legacy Event took on a new life and a new purpose. While we continue to honor those who have made a lasting impact on the lives of our residents – past, present, and future – the event now carries a Mission of its own: to help make compassionate, affordable care accessible to all.

Sr. Frances Mary Kernasovich, OP
Sr. Frances Mary was celebrated in 2025 for her many years of service to Lourdes and her devotion to providing compassionate care to all.
James LoPrete
James LoPrete was honored in 2022 for his generosity and yearly sponsorship, helping to provide resident programs, education, & staff recognition.
Bob & Sandra Riney
Bob and Sandra were honored in 2022 for serving on the Lourdes Healthcare Board and various committees. He has provided generous support on many projects.

Dan and Shelly Callan were honored in 2022 for their service on the Lourdes Healthcare Board. Dan is also the founder of the Golf for Lourdes Event, helping raise over $1M in 20 years.
THE 2025 LOURDES LEGACY EVENT
On August 14, 2025, Lourdes Senior Community hosted our Annual Legacy Event, honoring Sister Frances Mary Kernasovich, OP, a woman whose leadership, compassion, and faith have shaped Lourdes for more than four decades.
Family, friends, donors, and supporters gathered to celebrate Sister Frances Mary’s 90 years of life and the extraordinary legacy she continues to build. The evening was filled with heartfelt tributes, laughter, and memories that reminded us all of the power of one person’s dedication to making the world a more caring place.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, donors, and attendees, we raised nearly $50,000 toward this fund, and gifts are still coming in! Sister Frances Mary was deeply touched by the outpouring of love and support, and we are humbled by how many lives she continues to inspire.
